My name is Callum Harris. I’m a thirty-something based in Woking, UK, with a passion for sea angling, photography, and – from time to time – writing. In recent years, my fishing journey has taken a new direction, driven by a fascination with ballan wrasse and the rugged environments where they live.

I first discovered rock fishing in the spring of 2021, at a time when I had begun to lose interest in the carp and coarse fishing scene. Searching for something different, I found myself drawn to the coastline – exploring rocky shores, learning the tides, and targeting species that thrive where land meets sea. Since then, targeting ballan wrasse has become a major focus of my angling.
